What we do and do not collect
The information you enter into Serendipity Oracle is processed only in your browser. We do not receive a copy of it, and we cannot see, recover, or delete it for you.
We do not:
- require an account, login, or email address to use the app
- store your entries, answers, or reports on our servers
- sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers
- use your entries to train AI models
When you download a PDF or use a share option, the file is created on your device. Where it goes after that (your downloads folder, an email, a messaging app) is up to you and is governed by that service’s own policies.
Third parties
The app is delivered through third-party services, and they may see limited technical information when you load the page, even though they do not see what you type into the app.
- Hosting and delivery: Lovable & Cloudflare serves the app and may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request time for security and operations. See their privacy policies.
- Fonts, images, or scripts loaded from other sites: Google Fonts. These providers may receive your IP address when the page loads.
- Share features: If you use a share option, your device’s own sharing tools and the app you choose (email, messaging, social media) handle the content under their own terms.
We do not control these services and are not responsible for their practices.
Cookies, analytics, and technical data
Serendipity Oracle does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and does not run analytics that record what you enter.
Your browser may keep small technical files (such as cached files) so the app loads faster. You can clear these in your browser settings at any time.
Children, personal content, and not professional advice
Age. Serendipity Oracle is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and because the app stores nothing, we hold no information about any user’s age.
Personal content. You may choose to type personal or sensitive things into the app. Because they stay on your device, we do not receive them. You are responsible for who can see your device, your downloaded reports, and anything you choose to share.
Not professional advice. Serendipity Oracle is an educational and self-reflection tool. It is not medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your area.
Security, your choices, changes, and contact
Security. Because we do not store your entries, there is no database of user content for us to lose. We still use reasonable measures to keep the app itself secure, but no website can guarantee absolute security. Use a device and browser you trust, and be careful where you save or send your reports.
Your choices. To remove what you entered, close or refresh the page and delete any reports you downloaded. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete. If you contact us by email, we will use your message only to reply and may keep it as long as needed to do so.
Changes. If we change how the app handles information (for example, by adding accounts or paid features), we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect. A future version of the app that stores data will have its own policy.
